Shortly after the war, the US Army began gathering reports from German officers in order to study the tactics of the German Army. These documents are available through the National Archives. ( http://www.archives.gov/dc-metro/college-park/  )

In this section, we are attempting to translate the rather poor photocopies of microfiched records. These are often hard to read and translation errors are bound to occur. So far we are working on two reports. NARA B-621 716th Infantry Division is an account of the battle in Normandy. NARA A- 875 Southern France (15 August 1944 - 15 September 1944)
