This Fire truck began life as a 1944 CCKW 353 Deuce and a half. It was reconfigured in 1945 to a 530 pumper truck. (the picture below) Some time in 2007 the rear tank, tank frame, ladder brackets were removed. All firetruck related items were gone from the truck except the front pump, a single water pipe and an extra small radiator tank. The 500 gmp pump mounted on the front bumper was removed once the truck arrived in Texas.
