Another long distance trip for a total immersion tactical. A 36 hour continuously moving event that allowed no return to the POV camp. The landsers carried everything they needed. The site scenery was spectacular and easy to get lost in the moment.

Texas State Railroad Museum, Palestine Texas
A living history day with a small show battle. We decided to go with a DAK impression as the temperature at the event is usually in the mid 90s. This year it was in the upper 70’s and glorious. Still it was a great opportunity to show off our pasty white legs in our tropical shorts.

A small total immersion 36 hour tactical. This was the debut of the new signals HQ impression. The HQ became a target for the Allied forces and we were “knocked out” several times. The Allies would “capture” our position and sit down for a coffee and to warm up next to the stove.

A total immersion Russian Front event on a site with a complete trench system. It was a very intense event with not a lot of opportunities for photos. The 716th’s position was the only position that didn’t fall to the Russians for the entire event.

Also known as mudfest, this immersion tactical featured a downpour that rivaled the spring rains on the Ost front. This event provided the inspiration for a Signals HQ impression.

Western Front Tactical, Pottsboro TX
This event actually pre-dates the 716th. It was however the first event that TMHS sported a pure Heer impression. It was also an opportunity to play with a real live 88 Flak. It was a dream to fire!
