Finally I have been able to establish the upright line of the hood on the firewall. The last lip and vertical panel to match the curve of the firewall still have to be made. When I have done this, I can make the hood itself.
The roof is coming along. The final edge still has to be established and the 3/4” plywood roof deck has to be cut but the hard part was establishing the edge.

The beadboard has been applied to the rear of the cab. The bottom is untrimmed. The temporary “roof” was to keep the storm out. Unfortunately the water caused the beadboard to warp despite nails, caulking and adhesive.

The frame has been removed, welded, ground down, sandblasted and primed. 

These two pictures show the cab frame being assembled. The door is test fit in place. At this point it is just tack welded together.
