It is still pretty rough but this is the new cowl. The right pic shows the original cowl.

The cab is now removed and the rear wall moved back.

The new cab is now starting to take shape.

I did some measuring and recalculating from the pictures I have. I had placed the rear wall of the cab too far back. It was more a question of where the angle of the cab changed. So I put it back to it’s original position and moved the angle transition back several inches. It is now about 3” too short, but I think having the original frame assembled correctly, is the best thing to do. It gives the best strength and rigidity..
